In this new fragrance, patchouli expresses its lightest, most airy facets. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette chose an extremely pure fraction of its essence: “For Patchouli Blanc, I wanted to recreate the feeling of soft, enveloping cashmere,” he explains. “I wanted the fragrance to translate the idea of tender, cottony wood with a literally irresistible clean smell. That’s why I started by choosing a very specific, sheer and floral fraction of patchouli.”
Freed from its raw facets, this crystal-clear patchouli is paired with a velvety bouquet of roses and lit up by the spicy notes of pink peppercorn. A touch of cashmere wood gives this composition an enveloping, full-bodied feel, while diaphanous white musks evoke the scent of soft, fresh laundry against your skin.
